Hi all, just wondering if anyone's had their scan done at Window to the Womb and what the experience was like? I know that they have different branches?

I found a deal on groupon for this company which offers: 2D scanning, well being report, gender confirmation, 6 coloured photos or BW, sneak peek of 4D plus movie recording.

This will be hubbys first time being with me at the scan as he was unable to come along for the 12w scan.

I'm currently 16+3days and hopefully by the time I book, I will be well into my 17th week.

I've had 2 scans with windows to the womb, had one at 8 and 10 I couldn't fault them at all.

We've also booked a well-being and gender scan with them, I've got it tomorrow and I can let you know what it's like after 😊 I'll be 16+ 1.

My SO has been to both scans and is coming tomorrow, any questions or concerns we had they went through in detail and explained everything to us. We also got a video of our 10 week scan, you download an app and the video on there which you can save to your phone. It was amazing to be able to send to family members so they can see ☺️

We've had 3 scans with them this pregnancy (for various reasons) and all the staff were lovely every time, really reassuring and genuinely happy to be there. I would recommend our local one to anyone looking. We are planning on booking a gender scan in a couple of weeks with them😁

Spagbolpls · 11/11/2020 20:22

@TJF2020 yayyy thank you so much ☺️ I'm glad you've had a lovely experience there and wish you best of luck tomorrow! Please do let me know how your scan goes x

Also the 10 minute recording; was this the 4D one?

I had an 8 week reassurance scan with them and it was great, planning on finding out the sex with them also so that my husband and I can find out together. Smile

@Lou98 Very reassuring to know the service is great, exactly what I was looking for. Most clinics aren't prioritising gender scans, but I'm glad that this clinic is! I wish you all the best for your gender scan x

Thank you. Will let you know how it goes. 😊 no my 10 week scan video was just the standard 2D scan but it was lovely and was about 3 minutes long. If we like the 4D tomorrow we might get the video then, we seem to have a wiggler so it's always lovely to see that on the video x

Yes! Then are excellent! Lovely clinics x

I’ve had 3 scans at WTTW, including the 4D one. Would highly recommend. My partner hasn’t been allowed at any of the NHS scans so this was a good opportunity to let him see baby.
They even had a bit of difficulty getting good pictures at the 4D scan & rearranged for me to come back for a rescan at no extra cost!

I have been to window of the womb for the same scan at 17 weeks. we went to the ellesmere port one in Cheshire. This is the 4d photo sneak peek we saw 😍

They are always so friendly and get excited with you. I would 100% recommend going!

Thank you ladies so much for your response, it really means a lot!

I have gone ahead with booking my scan for Tuesday 🤞🏼 all goes well... my husbands soooo happy and excited bless him ❤️

I know a few ladies on here who have/had their scans done recently, let me know how you got on xx

Also I can't seem to see the pricing for extra products that they sell; key rings, photos etc.

Does anyone have a rough idea how much they are? Silly me forgot to ask when I called 😩

My scan went great today they were amazing! Baby wasn't playing ball and kept flipping and facing away but we got the perfect shot at the end. I'm having a little boy 🔵 always had an inkling i was having a boy! He keeps kicking my bladder!

They had a deal in when we was there for a teddy with babies heartbeat, a scan photo frame and the scan video for £40. Get 4 free pictures then after that I think it was £2 per picture and £3 for 4D picture. However, they gave us a code for their bumpies app and we got all the pictures of the scan on the app so didn't have to spend extra! Also got a little gift with a man bottle, dummy, baby journal and some stretch Mark cream for me.

So exciting for you and your husband Tuesday ☺️

@TJF2020 ❤️❤️ I'm so happy for you 😆😆 congratulations!! I had my scan yesterday and I'm so happy that I'm having a little boy too hehe!! Hubby is well chuffed and over the moon ☺️

My baby's quite tall for 17 weeks but nothing to worry about, I'm just glad he is healthy and kicking lol

Haha so was mine.. kicking my bladder and facing downwards then kissing placenta 😂😂

Overall a lovely experience and I'm having all my framed photos delivered to me. I think it was lovely for them to gift a mam bottle and soother ☺️ good way to trial it out once the baby's born. (I got the same)

💙💙 wishing you well and good luck with your pregnancy xx

Congratulations 💙💙 it's so exciting isn't it. Have you told any family you are expecting a little boy? We was going to keep it to ourselves but so excited we ended up letting it slip 🙈

It's such an amazing experience watching them kicking away! I'm starting to get flutters 🙈

Must be a boy thing kicking the bladder and facing away 😂😂 no wonder why I need to wee all the time 😂

Happy it was a good experience for you!! Bet you can't wait for them to turn up! And yes it's so lovely isn't it, I had already brought a couple mam bottles just in case baby latch or something and their dummies! Just because there self sterilising ☺️

Thank you so much 💙💙 all the best with your pregnancy as well!! Xx
