Back pain at 6 weeks

Has anyone had back pain this early in pregnancy and would you be able to describe it a bit please? I already have bad pain also all around my hip etc but I had been making progress. The pain has come back today but it feels different more really stiff and can’t really arch my back wondering if it’s partially pregnancy related or just my existing problem morphing into something else. Feeling very low as it’s been an ongoing problem. tia

My SPD was worse at the beginning of my pregnancies. By week 32, I was remarkably okay. For second pregnancy, the first person I called after I found out was my chiropractor and I saw her weekly until about 20 weeks when I dropped to fortnightly as I was really doing okay.

I think I've read that back pain is one of the very early pregnancy signs. In fact, it wasn't my missed period that made me do a test, it was a missed period combined with back pain that made suspicious (I was late the previous month, hence why I didn't think anything of the delayed period).

I woke up a couple of mornings with my lower back really badly aching.

@SpaceOP @MsHedgehog thanks glad it got better for you towards the end but 20 weeks still seems a long time eep. I just feel so stiff all over especially my back. Also have a huge knot in my thigh so trying to work out its my original problem and the exercises have failed or the pregnancy.

@Amymac5 you have described my symptoms exactly. Since Sunday, I've had lower back pain and pain across my hips plus twinges in my thighs and calves. Not sure if I've pulled something or it's pregnancy related - I'm 7 weeks. I think it's starting to improve then it cranks up again

@Lolascolas80 sorry to hear you have back pain too. It’s not nice at all. Mine has been going on for many months pre pregnancy although suddenly feels completely different but still sore. Today I couldn’t even get out of the car unaided
