Did anyone else struggle with flat / still drinks?

This is more of a curiosity rather than anything else!

I'm 19 weeks with my first and my only pregnancy symptom was really bad vomiting which has eased now. No sore boobs, no exhaustion, no cravings, nada.

The one thing that does still affect me is I cannot drink flat drinks without throwing up. Still water, squash, coke which is watered down with ice, milk - I throw up. Orange juice with my breakfast on Sunday - threw it all up.

I now drink only sparkling water which I mix with elderflower cordial during meals. It's the only thing I can drink and tolerate. It's odd because I feel fine, but I just can't drink anything flat / still.

Has anyone else had this?

I'm only 9 weeks but similar int hat I can only stomach fizzy drinks!

@raspberryjamlove

Glad to see I'm not the only one - I just find it so weird when my symptoms now are very minimal, but I can only drink fizzy drinks or else I'll be sick!

Yes, that's when my addiction to ice cold Diet Coke began...

Yes. First 2 I could only drink soda water (BP always fine!) which was disgustingly salty as soon as I had given birth.
Third I had soda water & sparkling water but struggle to drink flat water years later - it still makes me nauseous Confused
