Test line got darker

Hi so I took a test at 5 weeks, then 6 weeks and today at 7+6 and I know some people might think that’s stupid and pointless and I’ve been ridiculed for that already but it helps my head today’s test the control line is darker where as the past 2 tests the control line was light compared to the test line. What could cause this ?

Depends on the batch of tests. They don't have a standard amount of dye or anything

I used the same brand of test with my DD and tested constantly and the colours were up and down and she's fine

Thank you for your responses this mornings was a different batch so hopefully that’s all it is

Honestly it’s best to step away from the tests, things like this can cause so much unnecessary worry.

Either variable test dye, different times of day, different hydration, or hook effect

But still a positive not to worry about I’m guessing.
