Hello,

I'm currently on the pill, and I'm bleeding half way through a pack, I've NEVER done this before except when I was pregnant with my little boy. I'm going through a breakup with my sons dad and I was sick last Monday night when I had my pill a few hours before and then I had sex with him on the Tuesday night! I'm terrified I'm pregnant again especially as we're not together anymore.

I know people say stress but I've never had it and been on the pill for 3 years on and off. Anyone got any ideas? I'm not due my period til the 24th. Do I stop taking my pill now and see what happens or carry on taking it??

At this stage it's unlikely you are pregnant. If you've been taking the pill properly for a long period of time then even if you absorbed none of the one you might have thrown up, you're unlikely to ovulate from that single "missed" pill. It is possible, of course.

I spontaneously started bleeding on the pill after I'd been on it for 2.5 years. I was not pregnant.

At this stage I would say continue taking the pill as normal and take a pregnancy test of your withdrawal bleed doesn't happen.
