I’m 19 weeks and I’m really really missing sushi. Can I eat it? I keep seeing conflicting advice!

Yes you can as long as the fish was frozen beforehand

Yes. By law all sushi sold in the EU must be made from fish which was previously frozen (with some exceptions, eg farmed salmon which does not tend to have parasites) so unless you are eating sushi made at home from fish you have caught yourself then it is fine. Keep an eye on your mercury intake if you are having fresh tuna.

Yea it's fine if the fish has been previously frozen which I think has to happen for restaurant and shop bought sushi. I eat sushi.
