Is labour starting?!

So I've had Brixton Hicks for the last couple of weeks, but last night I felt 'different'. Can't explain how but it was a feeling I had enough to put a towel down in bed and pop a pad in I case I had some water breakage in bed 😂

Anyway, 6:30am comes and I've got tightenings along with pain and back pain (nothing too painful though). They're regular every 10 mins for about 2 hours then they go.
Anyway they've started up again, a little more painful, and I've just had my bloody show.

This is my 2nd baby, but I'm still questioning everything! How long until proper labour? Is this latent labour? The contractions are painful but nothing unbearable I'm still pottering around the house tidying and preparing for our little arrival! Should I be timing these or just ignore until they're really painful? 🥴

I couldn’t tell you how long you have left yet, but a bloody show is a huge sign of imminent labour! Fingers crossed you don’t have a long wait ahead 💕

I would time them though, and once they get closer together you should ring triage and let them know!

@Queenbee95 started timing them and they've eased off again, I was sat down watching tv with the other half and daughter! As soon as a stood up, whammm big contraction 😬 just gonna have to carry on and hope they become more regular and stay regular🤞🏽

I found walking did help labour progress a lot quicker. Or if you have a ball, get bouncing!

Hopefully this is it and you aren’t left with these unpredictable contractions for days. Good luck
