How long after missed AF did you have to wait for a BFP?

I was due on 2/11/20. I had spotting and cramps all last week, took tests daily and seemed just like an evap line. Took one today to be sure, it’s definitely darker and has colour but is still faint.
As I’ve had a few miscarriages, I am staying calm and not holding too much hope. I have a doctor call back (not sure what that will do?!) and I have an ultrasound booked tomorrow for something completely different-should I tell them what I suspect and will they still do it?
Any opinions on the line welcome! I may have line eyes..

I would definitely say that's a positive! I got a BFP but it was on an early detection test 6 days before period was due.

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye on this one. Previous times I also got positives early on, so that’s why I was skeptical about it being so late to get a positive this time round!

My first pregnancy I got a negative around the time I was due on (my periods weren't always regular before I had children) and so I tested again 4 days later and got a faint positive like this one. That was on a wilko test strip that looks a lot like this one. Good luck.

That's definitely a positive. I tested 3 or 4 days before AF was due (my cycle length varies a day or 2) and got a faint positive.

I took a test 4 days before and I got a faint line that looked like an evap line but it came up instantly. Thought it was just a duff test, left it till the day my period was due and got a digital saying pregnant. No mistaking it.

I had a faint positive at six weeks... just very faint and it never really got any darker! I never got a positive on the doctors test, only on frer. Never got a positive on any blue dye tests. They put this down to the fact that I’m well hydrated... it does happen. I keep looking it up and finding people who didn’t get a positive at all until 12 weeks or 5 months or other freaky things! It’s very unusual but it does happen, there are lots of stories.
I just knew what my body was telling me. I’m now 13 weeks so still early, but I’ve had a scan that shows healthy wriggling twins!

I know this doesn’t help you ... but maybe someone certain they are pregnant who Google’s this someday will be encouraged.

A positive is a positive, so congratulations! Flowers
