Loss of symptoms

Hey lovelies.

Today I am 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I had a horrendous 7th week with nausea and migraines keeping me in bed mostly.

As soon as I hit 8 weeks all of my symptoms vanished. No nausea, sore boobs, food aversions, cramps, migraines...

I’m very worried. I understand there will be people who are having a horrible week 8 with sickness etc but please be mindful of how scary it can be to lose this.

Does anyone have any similar stories with positive outcomes? I already had an early scan at 6 weeks which was all fine, heartbeat was “lovely”. My next one is the 12 week with NHS but that’s ages away and I can’t afford to keep paying for these early scans every couple of weeks.

I’m an anxious mess. Sad

I never had any symptoms until around 13/14 weeks. Had I not had an early scan I would never have believed I was pregnant.

Try not to worry!

@scotgal99Thank you Smile I think I’m just a bit freaked out because I had lots of symptoms all the time and they suddenly stopped all at once! I’ve been reading too many MMC stories. Sad

@toastyy try not to worry (easier said than done...) they’ll come back. My symptoms came and went in the first trimester. After two early miscarriages I was very anxious too. It felt like every day dragged in the first trimester. All fine so far though and I’m now 27 weeks. Symptoms still come and go even now! X x x

@toastyy I'm currently six weeks pregnant, snd my symptoms seem to come and go, one day I feel totally and completely fine the next my boobs hurt I feel sick and am completely exhausted! I've had a Mc so understand how scary this all is, I spend everyday so scared but I do believe it's normal for symptoms to come and go xxx

Yes I was the same as this, I think symptoms came at 6 weeks and went around 8. Midwife said it was normal as hormones are fluctuating. Baby now 8 months

When I was around 4 weeks pregnant (didn't know at the time) I felt sick in the evening. Went after that and didn't have any other symptoms at all through out my pregnancy.

You should count yourself lucky my horrible symptoms lasted right from 4 until about 20 weeks. Sometimes when you hit a certain stage they just completely disappear and it's different for everyone some people it's early on some people late don't worry about it it's normal in fact enjoy it 😭😂

I had this at 7 weeks and it came back after a few days. My dd is now laying next to me at almost 8 weeks old and fighting sleep. I had a mmc last year and didn't lose my symptoms at all, even after the heartbeat stopped.
