How to tell the difference between braxton hicks and labour coming

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Braxton Hicks is tightening but but with the pain . Contractions make your stomach tight and cause pain like a very bad period pain with me .
They will come regular and last longer each time . X

I’d definitely call up for advice if your concerned. I’m 32 weeks and I get braxton kicks often , there uncomfortable as my stomach goes so tight and I have pelvic pain but there definitely not as bad as contractions.
I’m up now can’t sleep , really bad back pain and swollen ankles . 😡
It will all be worth it in the end !
I hope your ok , it could be that the baby is moving lower down so causing you pain but I’d definitely get it checked out, call your pregnancy assessment unit .

@iwwntchocolate
I’m having a planned section , but with my two other children I went into Labour myself. I ended up having two emergency sections .

You will be fine whatever happens , just think of meeting your baby. Good luck I hope everything is ok.
I’m hoping I don’t end up going in over Christmas, my baby is measuring big as I’m diabetic so I’m getting taken in early but as yet I don’t know when .

I had really uncomfortable braxton Hicks from week 35. They felt like period pains to me, and would last quite! Contractions don’t last that long and are more regular. I kept thinking my Braxton Hicks were contractions but boy was I wrong, when you have your first contraction you will know haha.

@Alychloe that's what everyone's been saying to me 😂 I said to my midwife but how will I know she was like OH YOU'LL KNOW 🤣🤣
