Baby carriers

Wondering what baby carriers people would recommend for newborns? Ideally would like something that will do up to 12 months

I had a Hanna wrap to start and then an Integra after that that took me up to 12 months ish. I'd recommend having a chat with your local sling library if you've got one - mine was so useful with plenty of advice.

If you only want to buy one carrier, the integra can be used from birth (7.5lb). I used ours as a front and back carrier until our DCs were well into toddlerhood.

I used a wrap for the first 3 or 4 months then got a tula. Agree with @Disappointedkoala, if you can go to a sling library that's your best bet.
