Hi All,

I'm an Aspergian, and pregnant with my first.
Does anyone know if there's any support out there for mums/pregnant ladies with autism?
Thanks Smile

Hi there so nice to find a fellow aspie. So im pregnant with my first and currently at 25 weeks but theres not seemed to be alot of support offered to me. Ive been told if i want to i can be reffered to the the perinatal mental health team if wanted but i feel like ive coped fine and i dont like labeling myself with mental health. I got diagnosed at 12 so for me life seems normal enough for me. Just make sure everyone involved in your care and birthing plan are aware of any need you have. For me i struggle with lots of pepole and crowds so i ask for appoinments at quiter times and ive explained how i may find labour overwhelming if i have to many diffrent people in and out. Its the little things that help. Make sure that when you come to labour time to that you have things to help you cope such as a speacial playlist of music that you like or a certain item. I hope your well and everything goes good and im here as a fellow aspie mum to be to chat
