Don't think nhs warns against peppermint tea

I didn’t drink it in the first trimester as I didn’t want to risk it, I had ginger and lemon tea for nausea. Just avoid anything with liquorice root, chickory root and blackberry leaf.

I did as I had extremely painful trapped wind and midwife advised that peppermint tea can help

I drank it to help with trapped wind in first trimester, it really helped the discomfort!

I virtually lived off it and ginger tea when I was pg
My consultant also prescribed me a peppermint sort of essence to add to water too
