Movement question...

So, baby has been stressing me out over the last week and a bit with movement not being as it was.
I’ve had a scan and been to triage, they’re not concerned BUT I have realised I can feel him move with my hand on my belly, and I can see him move if I sit and watch. But I can’t actually feeeeeeel him without doing those things really.

Placenta is at the back.

Anyone else find this or found this in previous pregnancies?

I’m 32 weeks so movements aren’t as vicious as say 10 weeks ago.

Sometimes DP can feel movement that I can't feel at all from the inside. My placenta is at the back so not sure how it happens but it does!

They do start to run out room as such so the movements do change to more wriggles than massive kicks. However if you ever worried even for 1 day and you where there the day before please ring your midwifes.

Have a glass of orange juice / anything cold or sugary and lay on your left side. Count how often they move. If it’s 4/5 times within the hour then don’t panic but if it’s reduced just call it’s not worth the what ifs

If you are worried go in....however having said that the quality/feel of movement changed for me around that point. Less obvious jabs and kicks and more like smoother movements. I used to count it as movement if I felt it from the outside, although not sure what the professional advice is.
