Pregnancy test validity

Stupid question as the answer is wait and try again but, I did a pregnancy test and a 2nd very light line came up just before the 5minutes. It's not easy to see but my husband saw it as well. I took the test in the afternoon and my period is due today. My worry is whether the time I was dipping the test counts within the 5min or not, and whether a line always appears after the 5min whether positive or negative.

Thanks

No the time when you were dipping the test doesn't count, you start the 5 minutes from when you get it out Smile

A line is a line, congratulations! If a line hasn't appeared within 5 minutes it's not valid, but I always thought of it as 5 minutes but an analog clock not an alarm set on a phone, if that makes sense?

Do you have another test you can take with fmu tomorrow? It's probably faint because you've been drinking all morning m.
