I feel totally poisoned, I heave yet don't really chuck up. If I move or talk I am exhausted and feel worse. I am only 6wks 3days is this normal. I was bad with ds but not this bad. Fot the last 3days 24/7 I have felt terrible with no let up.

It could be morning sickness, it can be pretty wicked, I would think that if you're not actually being sick, it's unlikely that you've been poisoned! You're not carrying twins are you? (twice the morning sickness ) sorry, here's some sympathy for you....

DonDons · 16/10/2007 13:33

Hey supperwoman....I've been the same and unfortunately am now 14 weeks with no let up! It's probably just the hormones....but if you are really owrried you should talk to the GP/MW just incase you have hyperemesis..... Hop eyou get better soon!

Sympathy.
With DS I was sick at the same time every morning.
With DD I never managed to be sick - just heaving and heaving.

Scampynoodle · 16/10/2007 16:31

I know how you feel supperwoman. My morning sickness was similar. I rarely chucked up but all day, every day I felt nothing but horribly sick. Not leting myself get hungry helped enormously but that's not easy when you can't face food. I used to say that if I wasn't pregnant then I must have been poisoned!

I was exhausted too - there were many days when I couldn't even get out of bed and for the first 16 weeks I did whatever work I had to do in the morning and slept all afternoon instead (luckily I work for myself).

It's scary to feel so rough, so don't fret about hating it so much. It's a bloody crappy time however chuffed you are to be pregnant.

massive sympathy supperwoman. I started monster nausea at 6 weeks which soon developed into aforementioned nausea plus vomiting about 3 times a day. At 13 weeks it seems to be finally lifting and I've had 5 much better days. You know some people call ms progesterone poisoning! For me nothing really worked except sipping water and nibbling dry crackers almost constantly. Still always felt shit but it helped a bit. Was really really really really tired all the time too. Talk to the GP as there are things they can prescribe. Try to keep up water intake too.

morning sickness......what a joke!
I was really bad with my 2 dd's to the point where with the first I couldn't even keep water down and was put on a drip one day!, but nothing with my 3 ds's.

Big hugs Supperwoman - I completely sympathise with you. I have been the same now since I was 6 weeks pregnant - I will be 16 weeks tomorrow.

I constantly feel like I am going to chuck up and that I have a temperature. I never seem to have a temp and I only chuck up every so often - it's usually just dry heaving. It is a horrendous feeling that isn't letting up at all and it has often made me cry.

Rest does seem to help a wee bit but then I was resting so much, I would get a headache. S*d's law.

Try to eat little and often - milk has been my saving grace as it's the only thing i can have that doesn't make me feel worse though occassionally I have thrown that up too.

Total sympathy, supperwoman. Mine kicked in too at 6 wks. Now at wk 9 and have been signed off work for 2 wks coz I can't function like a normal human being. No-one gets quite how horrible you feel. I can honestly say I hate being pregnant, though I love my DD totally and look forward to meeting no.2 child. Sea-sickness bands help as does exercise. Good luck; it will pass. Is there any truth in the old twins theory?

debinaustria · 17/10/2007 06:51

Supperwoman - I'm with you there, I'm 5 weeks 6 days and every day I feel worse and worse. Yesterday I got up, heaved, breakfast, heaved, sat on settee sipping water, fell asleep for 2 hours(at 8 in the morning after 8 hours sleep) , woke up heaved - you get the idea.

With the ds's I was always sick when I 1st got up, then that was it apart from feeling nauseous but it's so much worse this time.

I haven't any advice, just wanted to let you know you're not the only one!!
