Hi all,

I'm thinking of ringing the midwife but I don't want to waste their time, pregnancy can be a pain sometimes.

I'm 27 weeks and 4 days pregnant, I have my first experience of Braxton hicks last night, felt like mild period pain, didn't worry me and baby's been moving a lot but I have a dull ache in my tummy and when I wiped after having a wee there was a bit of blood, kind of like spotting - is this normal or is it worth getting checked out? Obviously I don't want him to come yet (haven't even done the nursery 😂 and I want him to be safe and healthy) but I don't wanna waste anyone's time.

What do you think?

Yes, go get checked out. It's probably nothing but you should definitely get checked. It's not wasting anyone's time. Hope all is well. Xxx

I would 100% get checked. It may well be nothing but better being safe xx

Hi @Betty94 did you get checked out ok? Just to say that if labour is happening there are sometimes ways they can stop it, or slow it, or make baby’s lungs stronger. So please get checked out sooner rather than later.

I've been checked out, everything's okay Smile thank you x
