Test line not getting darker at 21 DPO

Hi ladies :)

I'm a little worried because my test lines are still really faint. I'm 21 DPO. I got a negative on 17 DPO and a positive on 19 DOP. I did a clearblue yesterday (20 DPO) and got pregnant 2-3.

With my first baby, I got a really strong test line 16 DPO (didn't test before then).

Should I be concerned? I am having trouble getting an appointment with my doctor because of COVID, so can't have bloods done right now. I also can't show my test progression because my toddler chucked them all on the floor and mixed them all up Confused

Attached is today's result. Thanks for your opinions!

I think if you were still having negative results on day 17 and first positive day 19, then you’re still early and there’s probably little cause for concern x

OK, thanks @Emmelina
I wasn't using OPKs, so there is a possibility I could have ovulated later (although that would be very unusual for me)

So 21 dpo should be 5 weeks, which means the clearblue is approx correct. My guess is 1) you ovulated slightly later than you thought and 2) one steps cheap strips just arent great! Ps - if you keep using the cheap strips they never get darker than control so dont be alarmed!

@TheDaydreamBelievers Yes, they are the One Step cheapies! It's just that I used One Step with my first pregnancy, too, and I remember the line being a lot clearer even early on. But maybe my head is messing with me, and maybe it changes between batches. Thanks for replying!

Looking back at my one steps (all stuck inside a notebook!) They are darker than that at 21dpo but as I said you may have ovulated later than you thought or you might have a crappy batch. What to do from here is probably keep using them every few days and see if they darken?

I'd go with the clearblue - once your hcg gets too high or can throw the cheap tests "off" - they aren't really designed to be taken that far into a pregnancy. If you are getting 2-3 on clearblue then your hcg will be somewhere between approx 150 and 2700 - id
Monitor when you get a 3+'instead which should be any day now

Thanks, @TheDaydreamBelievers and @ivfbeenbusy

I'm going to wait a few days and then test with another clearblue.
