Nausea - 3rd pregnancy

I have two boys and their pregnancies were a breeze.
I am now either 7w 5d or 12w (scan next Wednesday to find out) my periods are so all over the place due to coil removal

The nausea this pregnancy is horrific, I’ve never experience it before and it’s all day and every day!!
I wish I would just throw up and be done with it but the constant feeling of hurling is horrific, tiring and weirdly kind of painful it’s like an upset that just sits on your stomach/chest

Anyone have any tips? I’ve tried ginger biscuits and what not. So glad this is my 3rd pregnancy because this is miserable 😪

@Tinkerstar hey I had it horrifically bad with my daughter, I ended up in hospital, and my second pregnancy which ended In Mc, I'm currently 5+4 and nothing at all which is worrying me, I found that travel sickness bands helped, and dry things like water biscuits, you could also try those pure ginger shot drinks first thing on a morning? Xx

@Tinkerstar when did your sickness start? X

@Tinkerstar I'm 8+5 with DC5 and this is the worst sickness/nausea of all mine. I've been physically sick a few times but mainly it's nausea from when I wake, easing around lunchtime and then worse again before bed.

Dd1 and 2 I had no symptoms until heartburn and SPD hit in the second trimester.
Dd3 the heartburn and nausea and SPD were worse than the first two with lots of vomiting due to heartburn.
DS last year I had my first morning sickness but manageable with mints and lemon and ginger tea. Heartburn I was given omeprazole on prescription and I had no SPD.

This time I've been sucking sour sweets or chewing gum to get through the school run and posh fizzy drinks seem to help.

I was exactly the same. I have 2 boys and had lovely pregnancies no sickness or nausea at all. I’m in my third pregnancy and have also had horrific nausea, it was debilitating. No actual sickness but I was bedridden some days, I felt like I was going down a motorway backwards. It was overwhelming after having two pregnancies where I felt nothing like that. (I’m having a girl this time and I’m convinced that’s why this pregnancy has been so miserable - I’ve never been one for old wives tales til now!)

I was prescribed cyclezine which helped but it made me quite sleepy and drowsy so I could only take it during the night.

I found it was best to just eat whatever I fancied that would stop me feeling sick, and for some reason spicy food was best for me, and drinking very hot milky tea as it sort of filled me up, but because it was so hot I could barely taste it. Hopefully you find something that works for you tk give you a tiny bit a relief, although it’s hard to cope with.
