Pain under right rib

Hi,

Just looking for some advice, I am 29 + 4.
Tuesday I developed a pain under my right boob, I was doing housework that day so put it down to being over zealous with the washing.. but today the pain is back.

I don’t want to waste anyone’s time if I have pulled a muscle but I am a little worried about preeclampsia.. but I don’t have any other symptoms such as headache/nausea, I do feel unwell but I just have a cold.. (can’t check BP as I’m at work).

Is it worth getting checked? Like I say I don’t want to waste anyone’s time if I’ve just pulled a muscle.

Thanks :)

It is always worth getting checked. Phone your midwife. It might be nothing, but nobody on here can tell you for certain.

I’d always just double check with your midwife, better safe than sorry. Sure it’s nothing but you won’t be wasting anybody’s time. I had to go for a blood test for obstetric cholestasis this week because I mentioned to mine that my bump was itchy.. turned out to be nothing, probably just skin stretching as I thought, but better to be the person it turns out fine for than the person who doesn’t want to make a fuss and ends up having it! Good luck and hope the pain eases soon x
