Arghhh harmony test today. I’m incredibly nervous and now it falls on lockdown so dreading being stopped on the hour drive. My partner also properly starts new job today ( nights) but insists he wants to come so hoping it doesn’t run late so he can sleep. He can’t even come in to see it all as will have to stay with our 2 girls in the car who understandably can’t come in and now rules changed we can’t get looked after. But at least he can drive back If any bad news I guess.

The clinic have a 5 day turn around in results so not long to wait but it going to feel like forever.

Hey how did it go? I have mine on Monday. Wanted to ask if you want to know the gender but not straight away what do you do? I heard you get results via email ill end up opening it lol

Hi :)

It went very well thank you. Started with a thorough scan and check of babies anatomy , heart rate blood flow and nuchal measurements. Then harmony and full nuchal bloods . We had to consent for gender. Our clinic is run solely by a consultant from her home so only one there which was lovely and safe and she calls individually to discuss results. In our case I suspect she would hold gender on file if we wanted to know at later date etc? She has local test site so only 5 working days for results instead of 2 weeks which was another reason we chose her clinic ( beard mill near Oxford)

Hope yours goes well too any other questions do ask

Hi

Mines on Harley Street in London. Will not be able to take anyone as will have boys at home so going alone. Ill let you know how it went too 😊

Honeydukesmum · 06/11/2020 14:38

Oh yes do. I had partner and 2 girls outside but they couldn’t come in. It was sweet hearing them follow the free roaming chickens and daddy used the ever useful bubbles in changing bag 😂

@Honeydukesmum hey thats good news congratulations 😊. My hubby doesn't wana find out so i asked them to put the results in an envelope for the next time i come for my nuchal scan. I have a feeling its another boy but im happy with anything as long as baby is healthy.

Rainbowbaby3 · 12/11/2020 20:35

Also when are you due? Im due on the 2nd June hoping everything goes well

Honeydukesmum · 12/11/2020 20:38

18 may but know will be at least a week earlier due two previous caesareans.

Will you have a look? We were temped not to find out this time as was sure girl. Would have been even more of a shock at birth ( so may be we should have waited 🙈)

Im very tempted to rip the envelope there and then lol but i want hubby to be on board so we find out together. It's his birthday next month so might open it then.

Honeydukesmum · 12/11/2020 21:02

That sounds lovely idea 🥰 definitely nicer to find out together what ever way you decide x
