Help! I'm in panic stations. I had a growth scan on Monday and the sonographer mentioned about babies head being slightly large. I then had a phone call about it on Wednesday by a doctor who said its just jumped up quick from my 20 week scan. She mentioned this may have been how baby was lying as he was in breech position and the sonographer was having trouble measuring him and that I have to go back in two weeks time to check. Has anyone else been through this and everything turned out ok? I'm sick with worry!

Hi OP, I'm not sure if this is helpful or reassuring but my nephew's head was consistently in the 99.9% percentile through pregnancy and probably still is now as a happy healthy 18 month old. No harm to him, and you'd never think his head was big looking at him. So even if they do find your babies head is large, it doesn't mean there is necessarily anything wrong. Hope you get reassurance from your HCPs soon x
