C section bikini line - veet, shave wax?

Hi.

I had an emergency section with DS and was mortified when they shaved me. Couldn't be helped and wasn't in the plan.

Have an elective section in a week and wondering what people did. It is an area I normally have autism natural so not sure which to use and mainly to avoid regrowth itchiness. Hope not to much TMI

All advice before surgery is not to shave/remove your own hair because it creates an infection risk.

If they need to remove hair for surgery they use clippers for that reason.

I was told to shave before mine.

I shaved, I shave anyway so didn't make any difference.
