Previous Ectopic ??

Hey all,
I'm 6+1 with baby no3.
However I'm experiencing things I haven't in my previous pregnancies!

I've got a constant dull low tummy ache, sorry for TMI but it feels as though I constantly need too poo!😳
I've had a small light bleed today, (only when I wipe) and I've got pain in my right side, it also feels abit more swollen than the other side. It's like a stinging pain almost with an ache, it goes away when I apply pressure! I was moving some heavy things the day before I tested positive and I know I pulled some muscles in my arms I'm hoping I've just pulled a muscle!!
Has anyone had an ectopic and can tell me if these things sound as though I could potentially be having one?

I have had an ectopic pregnancy, but without some of the main symptoms. I've put a link here to the ectopic pregnancy trust which details symptoms.

It's not possible to say from your current symptoms whether it's an ectopic pregnancy or not, but I would suggest ringing 111 if you are concerned and getting advice. It's simply not worth the risk of "wait and see".

I've had 2 ectopics (possibly more) and both ruptured. I didn't have any bleeding/spotting with either. My pain started out like a one sided stitch like pain - if you draw a horizontal line from your belly button towards your hip - that sort of area. Very very different and location to miscarriage pain I've also experienced several times before.

I couldn't feel that side was any more "swollen" but I can tell you if I applied pressure to the ectopic side the pain intensified significantly

If you call 111 their standard response is to go to a&e so up to you whether you want to put yourself through that when they won't scan you this evening anyway they'll just take some observations and maybe arrange a scan with EPU in a couple of days

Both my ectopics ruptured at 6+1 but both had heartbeats

I'd maybe do a clearblue digital with weeks rest (yes I know controversial for a lot of people) just to see where you hcg levels might roughly be at?

Thankyou both for sharing your experiences and for your advice .. I had a large dark red bleed and now back to pink blood .. pain is only really there when I walk now, so I'm not sure. I've got an appointment at the EPU this afternoon!

Im 4 weeks pregnant but had an ectopic pregnancy in June.
I started spotting around 5 weeks it was very light and nothing to cause concern. I so had diarrhea. A week after I was in terrible pain like sharp shooting pains. It also hurt when I peed.
I was told to attend a and e and they booked me in for early scan next day where they discovered it was ectopic

I went to my appointment this morning and I have been diagnosed with 'PUL' pregnancy of unknown location - the sonographer stated my cervix looked very much closed, but could not locate any form of pregnancy no gestation sac in the womb nor outside - 1 of 3 possibilities, I've already miscarried and there's just nothing to see (I've not passed any clots) and the bleeding is pink and only when I wipe - hasn't got any worse, nor has the pain, I also have a bad tummy, but I always do when I'm stressed and my anxiety is bad so I'm not sure what it's connected too! .. 2 it's just to early to see anything - they confirmed my pregnancy with a positive test at the unit today
3 ectopic but too early too see on the ultrasound ... I've had bloods done today, to return to EPU Sunday for a repeat...
From my LMP I'm 6 weeks + .. I didn't however get my first positive until AF was 8 days despite testing from 2 days late .. the last possible conceivment date would make me around 3 + weeks pregnant .. I'm so unsure. My baby is only 10 months old so this was very much unplanned with failed contraception, a shock but very much now wanted .. my heart feels so heavy, I just want to know what's going on now, I thought I knew my body very well, now I'm questioning everything ..

I'm so sorry to hear this and can only hope it's too early to see anything.
I went to a private clinic at 6 weeks and they were unable to spot the ectopic as they didn't know an internal scan although they said if they have still might have been too early too see anything.
I attended hospital 3 days later and they just about seen the pregnancy

Hey, sadly this journey ends here for us. My repeat bloods show a drop in the levels so a confirmed miscarriage ☹️ guess it just wasn't meant to be this time!
