Ultrasound dates & LMP Dates

Hi

How do I count my pregnancy weeks? Do I count from my LMP the whole way through or do I change my dates depending on baby's size on ultrasound scans?

This is my first pregnancy so I'm a little confused by this. I'm 9 weeks pregnant according to my LMP but 8 weeks 2 days according to my reassurance ultrasound.

I just wanted to know so that my pregnancy apps are as accurate as they can be!!

Thanks GrinStar

Stick with your LMP until you have your 12 week scan, they'll give you a new EDD then and then you can update your apps to that one. At your gestation

Whoops pressed post too soon.

At your gestation baby is still very small so it's not as accurate as a 12 week scan.

Yea and even if you think the scan date is out all midwives and drs will class the scan date as more accurate so that just becomes your new estimates due date xx

You’ll be given a due date at your dating scan and that’s what they will base everything on.
