I am 6 weeks 3 days today, I got pregnant on the pill and had to have early scans to find out how far along I was at my 6 week scan I got a heart beat and everything was measuring perfect, asides from having a tilted womb... the next day I began to bleed lightly with this I called the hospital and was booked for a scan the next day still finding a healthy baby and heart beat but with blood around the sac only a small amount but after the internal scan I went home and began to bleed heavily and it has been this way for 3-4 hours now with dark red blood .... any advice or positive experiences Sad

I too had slight bleeding at 7 weeks. Midwife checked and said everything is ok. In first trimester, it's pretty common.

I completely understand your feelings. If the blood is getting darker or brown is usually a good sign. Please go to doctor/midwife to get a scan done. I am pretty sure it will be fine. Hoping the best for you.

I had heavy bleed at 5 weeks, thought I had miscarried, they did blood tests then scan at 6 weeks showed viable pregnancy alongside a lot of blood. I did 2 weeks lying on sofa and have not exercised beyond a slow walk since but scans have been ok at 13 and 20 weeks. So there is hope, do contact the professionals straight away.
