Hey. I am also 5 weeks and my first pregnancy too so I completely feel the anxiety you're feeling. But if it helps, I'm also experiencing period pains, discharge (vaginal) and backache. I have read numerous articles that this is completely normal and spotting is normal. I think we need to worry if there's heavy bleeding and/or cramps that are unbearable. Fingers crossed for us! xx

You’re better off ringing your gp or 111 they don’t sound like pregnancy symptoms

I'd ring 111 or your GP - I didn't have any of those symptoms in early pregnancy

I'd speak to your GP. It could be bowel related. I have had bouts of diverticulitis over the last few years (thankfully only one this pregnancy) and it can feel like really terrible cramping. Your bowel can become infected and that causes high temperature and chills. I also get a mucus discharge when this happens. Good luck.

A lot of this sounds like you are unwell in a way that isnt related to pregnancy so call your GP

The jelly mucus can happen if you have a high fat diet. Also pregnancy hormones mess with your bowels so can worsen stuff like that

Back ache and period like cramps are v normal in early pregnancy but jelly like discharge from your bum and the chills but being hot touch is not normal and likely to be unrealted to the pregnancy but still not good

I too think you need to call 111 x
