Hi all, this forum has been really reassuring regarding my pelvic pains. Sounds like a lot of you have experienced them, my periods were always terribly painful and it just feels like that... great. I'm 5weeks5days, so no scans yet and i can't find any information on if the following is a normal symptom. Some more reassurance would be nice;

I have quite a bit of pelvic pain, it's eased off from the first week and a hot water bottle has massively helped. In the last week i'm finding that i wake up about 2am, need to go to the toilet 4 times before 7am (alarm goes off), but this is when i'm experiencing more severe pelvic pains. I'm not in agony, but it's certainly more painful then the pains that come and go during the day. Is this because i'm resting and there's more 'growing' going on during this time? Anyone else experience more severe pains when they wake up in the middle of the night?

Hiya congrats on your pregnancy! I experience pelvic pain with both of my pregnancies I’d definitely mention it to your midwife and they should refer you for an early scan just to be safe. And to put your mind at ease. Both of my pregnancies were healthy and I now have 2 girls aged 7 and 4 and ttc a third
Best wishes
