Amby Nature Nest - to buy or not to buy?

I've just recently seen these on the internet and got the chance to seen one 'live' in my local pram shop. They look fab and the concept sounds great, but am just a little dubious as I've really not heard many people talk about them before. Are they safe, do they work etc, etc

It would be great to get feedback from anyone who has tried one of these - positive or negative!

Thanks very much

They definatively work - both my dd's slept beautifully in them for the 6 months or so, great next to your bed as you can just reach out and bounce them back to sleep in the night. But... and I'm not sure if anyone else will say the same thing, it was a bugger to get them from the Amby to a cot or bed - dd1 sleeping through the night from 6 weeks to 9 months when she left the hammock.. then continual night waking from 9 months to over 2 years. Could be unrelated but tbh after the gentle swinging hammock my dd objected massively to being put in the 'cage' (cot). But given all of that I would use one again as sleep is such a premium with a newborn and I'd rather have a sleeping newborn and pesky toddler than the other way round.

p.s if you have a look here at the website:
www.naturesnest.co.uk - my dd is the smiley little baby in the photo just under the phone number! [boast emoticon]

Thanks Jelly for the feedback - your baby is v v cute!!

Just realised that there is another thread on these from earlier today which I hadn't noticed. All positive comments too so I'm getting convinced!

Sorry - read your name too quickly - thanks Jekylly - not Jelly!
