Hi all, as the title says I'm 13 weeks and last night I got some (super mild) cramps and this morning I've got brown discharge and light spotting.

I phoned the EPU who said it was normal and to contact my midwife but she only works one day a week so not available. I'm probably being super dramatic but we discovered a mmc in June at our first scan so I'm a bit jumpy.

Has anyone else had this? Is it fine if it doesn't progress to proper bleeding? We just had our scan results back yesterday saying everything's fine and now this Sad

With my first I have one instance of very light spotting at 14 weeks. Epu sent me the gp who basically said nothing he could do and get back in contact if the bleeding became heavy.

My son is now 2 1/2.

Have you had your 12 week scan? I am sure all will be ok but I don't think that you can do anything bar monitor.

And I understand the anxiety. I went into have two mmc before this pregnancy and you never stop checking for bleeding

Thank you WelshLady. Yes I had my 12 week scan a week and a half ago and everything looked fine. Baby was moving, and the extra results came through yesterday saying low risk. I know I'm being paranoid but its so horrible being told nothing and just having to sit and wait to see if things get worse.

I had brown bleeding on and off for a week at 13 weeks. I was terrified as of had miscarriages prior.
Baby was fine, EPU could find no cause for bleeding, it just stopped suddenly and my little girl is now 20 months old.
Hope you get b some reassurance soon OP. xx

Thank you for your response Sugar. I am feeling a bit reassured now, just after last time I'm a bit anxious.
