Have I forgotten anything?
The hospital give each baby a hat as soon as they're born hence only packing one. They also provide maternity pads so just bringing a small amount on my own. Bringing a dummy as DS had a terrible delivery, was in pain, (needed paracetamol from the paediatrician) cried a lot and didn't feed well, I really wished I'd had a dummy with me.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I guess it depends on whether you are having a c section or vaginal birth? From what I've heard they are trying to discharge both within 24 hours? Also what's the position on visiting hours? If your DH is allowed 1 hour per day or more then he could always bring extra sets if you do stay longer than 1 day?

I'd bring some snacks for yourself as well. I was starving after I'd given birth.

Vaginal - hopefully!

DH will be allowed back into visit on the ward at a set time. He knows where everything is if I need extras.

The hospital gave me tea and toast after having ds. I suppose I could pack some biscuits though that might be nice :)
