Potential pre-eclampsia

Last night I went to triage for reduced movements and a persistent headache, upon getting there my blood pressure was high end of normal/borderline high at 143/85, so had bloods and urine tested and had a small amount of protein in urine, they retested blood pressure which had come down after a few hours...

Anyone had similar and developed pre-eclampsia?? I still have a headache that doesn't go too 🤦‍♀️

I had similar from 32 weeks in my last pregnancy. It never developed into pre-eclampsia but my blood pressure continued to rise and I had medication for it. They should now keep a close eye on things for you though.

Should say I had a trace of protein once, but it was negative thereafter.

Hi @EllieJai44, I am awaiting some results at the moment.
I went in for my consultant appointment on Thursday (37 weeks) and they found +1 protein in urine and so sent a second sample off for further testing. My blood pressure was average so they prescribed me antibiotics on the basis it was probably a urine infection instead. They then called on Friday to say it wasn’t an infection, so I’d need to do another sample today, which I’ve done. I’ll hear back tomorrow if there’s anything worrying. I have also had increasing headaches the past couple of days but wonder if that’s just stress induced!!! Confused
