Hi

I have a harmony test booked for next week. Does anyone know if i should take my notes with me or not? Anyone any experience with the fetal medicine centre in London. Thank you in advance

You don’t need to take your note. They do a viability scan, quite thorough actually, measure the fetus (needs to be at least 32mm crl), give you a few pics to take a way with their report and then just blood test (1 sample for harmony 1 for nuchal).
I highly recommend the Fetal Medicine Centre. They are absolutely lovely.

No they don't send email confirmations of apnt times. From memory if you are having the harmony plus the 12 week scan and bloods for downs/Edwards/plateau screening they like you to come in about 30 mins early so they can get the 12 week blood results as soon as poss during your apnt.

They don’t send confirmation but they did call me to confirm. They will do a viability scan first and if the baby is measured at least 32mm, they will then take your blood (2 viles - 1 for harmony to send to the US and 1 for nuchal). When you come back for the 12 weeks scan they will do a thorough scan, give you a background risk purely based on your age in general and an adjusted risk for this particular pregnancy based on all the measurements and nuchal blood test. Don’t worry you are in good hands.

I’m guessing this means the Harmony Test is still running during lockdown? I had mine in a clinic in SE London on the 31st and they did say it would be 5 to 7 working days, but I was slightly worried that lockdown would mean my results would be delayed.

Hi yes the clinic was Open as normal Smile
