Tiredness throughout the pregnancy?

I didn't appreciate how tired I'd feel being pregnant. I'm still just in the first trimester in week 8. Is this something that goes on throughout the pregnancy or is it, as I hope, more in the first trimester like morning sickness?

I’m ten weeks and could barely get out of bed this afternoon. This is my second pregnancy and I do remember feeling not as crap in second and third trimesters and praying it’s the same this time.

The first is the worst (and last few weeks) for most however I felt tired throughout both my pregnancies due I think to 24/7 morning sickness.
When the placenta kicks in you should start feeling less tired. For now pace yourself, make sure you get plenty of rest, eat well, keep hydrated and tell your self this will not last forever.
My mum told me it's your body preparing you for the early days of parenting!

I'm having my first but I was very tired during the first trimester. Around week 13 I suddenly had a ton of energy, although I have noticed that how much energy I have is linked to how I am eating. If I eat healthy all week I feel like I can go, go, go. But if I eat crappy then my energy fluctuates. There are weeks that I feel like I have all the energy in the world (and I take full advantage) but the next I'll be wiped out. lol I think every pregnancy is different though.

I'm a FTM and currently 34 weeks and I think the 3rd trimester is by the far the worst for tiredness, I felt great through the first and second. You just feel soo heavy and sluggish in your third. Xx

Yes! 8 weeks here and shattered don't remember feeling this tired first time round equally didn't have an energetic toddler to look after! I've already ore warned husband for this week coming in climbing into bed at 7pm once toddler is down even if I just read and relax! I think it's the feelings of nausea for me as I usually shake it off by sleeping (doesn't help with morning sickness was though)! Xx
