Hi all,

This is my first pregnancy and I am 9 weeks along!
I keep getting this heavy feeling/ pulling feeling in my lower abdomen near the knicker line. I just wondered if anyone else got this?
Or this just genuinely the feeling of being pregnant?
Thank you all!

Round ligament pain x

May I add I’m not in any pain, it’s more of an uncomfortable feeling and that my stomach needs support? Thank you

Yup that's it too - comes in all forms. From aching, pulling, stretching, dull or sharp pains x

Thank you!!! So it’s normal at 9 weeks too? Reading online people say that’s in the 2nd trimester?
Thanks so much for replying! Xx

@Meg7689
Mine was a lot worse during the first trimester. I remember pacing the room from about 5 weeks onwards. Sometimes it can feel really harsh, but it comes and goes. X

@cat709 oh Jesus completely normal then 🤣 thank you for putting my mind to rest!
Yes it comes and goes in waves, I find myself have to sit or kneel down sometimes with it!
Thank you x
