Please help. I read in my baby app that shining a torch on the baby would make him move. I’ve dont it a number of times now (only a few inches away from my belly!!!!). And it’s only now occurred to me now that I could be damaging his eyes.

What do you all think? I’m nervous now.

The baby will be fine.

No. The light doesn't shine directly onto your baby; it has to travel through layers of muscle, fat, tissue and amniotic fluid. Baby is cushioned safely inside your body. Try putting a torch to your hand and seeing how it looks on the other side – that's similar to how your baby will see a torch shining on your belly
