Just for fun - shape of bump and baby gender

Just wondered if there was any truth in the old wives tales of being able to tell your babys gender from the shape of your bump.

In each of my pregnancies I have carried out front rather than all round if you know what I mean. Expecting my third boy.

Anyone else got any other experiences of similar or different bump shapes with same/different genders?

Nope, both bumps completely different and both boys

DD1 bump was rounded, dd2 bump was in front. Both girls both very different.

Both boys and both bumps mahoosive, like footballs, but Ds1 was low and Ds2 was high.

Both up front bumps. Both boys.

Hello Rozzy . Both pregnancies I have had the same "swallowed a football" type bump, kind of just sticking out front, not particularly high or low. First pg was a boy, this one is twins and one of each .

was like a weeble, huge massive bump from undermy chin to my knees i felt like. as long as wide, was a teeny tiny little 6lb girly.

LOL pirategirl - I´m exactly that shape with this one (don´t know what it is yet though). Was nicely rounded with DS so have an inkling that this one is a girl

All round with ds and all front with dd, contrary to the old wives tale. Mind you, have always been contrary, or so my mother says.

Bump in front for me, and a dd
