I'm on my fith pregnancy and all of them have been different. The most different where between my two girls. I didn't have any sickness with dd1 just constant thrush. With dd2 I was very sick until 18 weeks and didn't have thrush even once!

MegaLegs · 15/10/2007 10:30

mine were all different, esp the 4th but they were all boys. my ms got worse with each pg.

kitsandbits · 15/10/2007 10:31

NO!!!

With DS1 I was vomiting till 30 weeks - sooo tired constantly, it was awful.

When I got PG the 2nd time - I only had minimal sickness and felt pretty damn good - i was 'carrying differently' and was 100% expecting a girl - i was sure of it!

But i had another boy,

It doesnt mean anything!!

fruitful · 15/10/2007 10:34

Nope. First two pgs were much the same and produced a girl and a boy. This pg is v different - so I'm hoping for a kitten.

My first 2 pregnancies were very similar and I have 2 boys. Very different this time but going by the scan (and it was pretty obvious) we're having another boy. As pregnancy progresses however I do feel like my bump is the same shape as in previous pregnancies.

mrsmerton · 15/10/2007 11:10

Someone (an old wife) told me that sickness in pregnancy = a hairy headed baby. Have to say it worked with me. Anyone else heard of this?

ScaryScaryNight · 15/10/2007 11:17

I had two different pregnancies. Both boys. I also felt worse the second time around, and I was told it was normal to feel worse in subsequent pregnancies.

peskipixie · 15/10/2007 11:19

4 very different pregnancies, all boys! 1 & 4 were awful, really sick, very little hair. very little hair on 2& 3 aswell but felt great all the way through

LadyOfTheFlowers · 15/10/2007 11:21

No.
Every preg is different.
Mine were both different and have 2 boys.

Two very different boys, might I add!

fifisworld · 15/10/2007 11:21

I had a fantastic pg with ds1, no sickness,no problems at all right through.
This time round had sickness until about 17 weeks, problems with back, water infections the lot...another ds due in 8 weeks.

Bodkin · 15/10/2007 11:28

Both pgs more or less identical - and I had girls both times. RE the hairy baby thing - I thought it was hearburn that indicated a hairy baby (that's what my midwife told me anyway) Well, I only had mild heartburn with either pg and both my babies have had just a light dusting of fuzz on their heads

goingfor3 · 15/10/2007 11:30

I was always told that a hairy baby gave you heartburn not sickness.

sweetbean · 15/10/2007 12:06

no heartburn or sickness with dd and she was'nt a hairy baby infact no hair at all

nope - three pregnancies all different - three girls - so in my case no.

MuffinMclay · 15/10/2007 12:16

No. This pregnancy feels completely different to the last, and both are boys.

CarGirl · 15/10/2007 12:20

4 pregnancies all very different all girls.

spugs · 15/10/2007 17:24

mine have been all different, first 2 girls, this one hopefully find out in 3 weeks

Celery · 15/10/2007 17:29

My two boy pregnancies were identical, and my girl pregnancy was very different. I had a boy, then a girl, and then with my third pregnancy I knew I was carrying another boy and I was right.

sweetbean · 16/10/2007 08:24

spugs fingers crossed for you xx

i would have to say NO definately not. i had the perfect pregnancy with DS1, but a s**t birth and with DS2 i had sickness up to 25weeks then went into labour at 31 weeks, but my body stopped it and it kept starting and stopping until i finally gave birth at 42 weeks!!!

i was hoping for DD as pregnancy were so diferent, unfortunately i was disappointed!

loler · 16/10/2007 08:32

Mine were all different too but could tell from the similarities that no 3 was a boy. the way i carried dd was very different.

The difference between dd and dss were more at the end than beginning though.

Tommy · 16/10/2007 08:36

I've had 3 different pregnancies - all boys
