Low fetal heartbeat

[ZNC2020]

I went for a private scan yesterday. I had calculated I was 8+3. They could only see an empty sac so did an internal scan. They found baby but said I was measuring 6+1 and the baby’s heartbeat was slow. I know have to wait two weeks for next scan. They said the Sac looked good and couldn’t see any evidence of bleeding. But if I bled in meantime to go to EPU. I’ve also had minimal pregnancy symptoms. I’m pretty heartbroken right now as they made me feel like MC was inevitable. Anyone have any experience of slow heart rate at early scans?

@whatsgoingon22 I was told to prepare for the worst at 6 weeks, spent 2 weeks a total mess waiting to bleed.. I now lay on the sofa with a slight bump at 13+2.. they can be wrong. Thinking of you xxc

Thank you @Littlebee1990 I read your thread too and congratulations. You’re probably one of the only positive outcomes I’ve heard to be honest. I just don’t feel positive for myself at all. I’ve got barely any pregnancy symptoms too and also have a small blood clot near the embryo. I don’t think the nurse would have booked in a ercp for next week unless she thought things were looking pretty dismal 😕🤷🏼‍♀️Anyways let’s see x thank you though xxx

@whatsgoingon22 I had a heamatoma next to the baby and was told that could also dislodge the baby, honestly I remember thinking I had everything stacked against me. I know I’m lucky but hopefully a tiny bit of hope xxx

@Littlebee1990 @Mishmased I can’t quite believe it but there was a very different story today. Fast heartbeat, measuring near bang on and more double the size in the last 6 days 😭I am still in shock. I can’t believe it and I know I’m not out of the woods yet but that was the biggest shock ever. Genuinely floored me- I had written everything off after last week especially as my boobs aren’t really sore anymore, no nausea and the fact they had booked in for the procedure for this Friday really was the writing on the wall.
I hope there is happy ending in sight 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@whatsgoingon22 Honestly I felt exactly the same, almost like I was in a dream and waiting to wake up! Our situations sound identical, I’m so pleased for you. I’m 14+2 now and haven’t felt pregnant since Day 1.. counting myself lucky!! X

@whatsgoingon22 I had to post that dramatic response sorry I just had to. I am beyond delighted for you and I'm waiting to go for my dating scan so this has absolutely made my day. I was hoping against hope that you get good news today and I'm so delighted. @Littlebee1990 story is always my go to story for anyone in that situation. I don't know what to say except congrats, take it easy and let's hope for the best❤️❤️❤️

Just to add @whatsgoingon22 with my two kids I never had any pregnancy symptoms, straightforward easy pregnancies (not births). This time I have had every symptom under the sun, third time lucky I guess 😂

@Mishmased @Littlebee1990 thank you both so much for you lovely messages😢❤️You’re so kind ❤️What a day😭 I literally can’t believe it still but know I have to be cautious not to get too excited but it was just such a surprise. I’d started getting all our savings in order to get ready to go for private testing after 2 previous miscarriages 😭and just didn’t see any possible way of this having a good outcome😭
Really does sound almost exactly the same - There was no sign of the little blood clot today!!

@Mishmased 1st June is my birthday! My due date is 16th May. I have an appointment with consultant in a few weeks to discuss options I think as I have a hole in my heart, I really have no preference right now as it’s my first it’s all brand new too me but from my research it appears I can’t have induction drugs and as pain free as possible is advised due to the strain on heart! X

Guys, I know it's exciting that your pregnancies are progressing well but do you think you could start another thread? It's a bit insensitive to poor OP to carry on discussing here.
