Read you’re meant to start this earlier for it to have effect? Anyone started it after 40weeks and it’s worked?! I’m getting desperate

Depends what you mean by 'worked'. It doesn't bring on labour, it tones the uterus and is supposed to shorten the pushing phase of labour

Fair point, I’m just getting desperate and fed up 🙁

You poor thing. The difficulty with knowing for sure that anything “worked” is that the very fact that you are full term makes it likely that you will go into labour so if anyone tells you they started drinking RLT, or tried any other potential method of starting labour, at this stage of pregnancy and it worked for them, you just have no idea whether it was coincidence or not. I hope things get started for you soon

I tried absolutely everything that was supposed to bring on labour and unfortunately nothing worked - sorry!

I know nothing works I really do 😂 I just feel helpless and want things to happen, clutching at straws I guess

I will give you something almost guaranteed to work. Book to do something expensive with no refunds allowed (I cannot think of anything off the top of my head in current times but be creative). Baby will almost definitely arrive at that time.

@Sitt hahaha yes that’s probably my best bet! Could find a very expensive non refundable hotel for the night 😆
