Cramping 31 weeks

Hi, I was told at 22 weeks I had low lying placenta, completely covering cervix. Got a scan in about a week to see if its moved yet.
Anyway, i got some painful Braxton hicks last week and today i have had the worst period pain type cramps for hours now. I just can't get comfy. No bleeding and I can feel baby moving fine. I was just wondering if anyone has had this before and if it was just a sign of placenta previa or a risk of pre-term labour. I've a midwife appointment on Tuesday so hoping to just wait till I see her and mention it then. Thanks.

I would ring your triage/assessment unit and ask for advice, particularly if the cramping persists/gets worse. Especially since you potentially have a placenta previa. Don't wait until Tuesday!

Could be braxton hicks but go and get checked out
