Hello! I’m 6w+4days - I’d not had many symptoms (tiredness and eating constantly!) Everything else (sore breasts, bloating, occasional nausea) easily could be the pessaries (IVF FET)

But as slight as they were, they have all gone in the last few days (save for a few twinges ) I’ve also had diarrhoea in the mornings and one morning had the faintest brown discharge (I’m still not really sure if there was any it was so light ) I’m on progesterone so it’s unlikely I’d have anything heavier.

I’ve rang 111 and they said to see a GP within 24 hours. That’s obviously not likely to happen- but I will try. Has anyone had this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

I’m having all the wobbles.

Hi,
Didn’t want to read and run - I’ve not been through this before but I’m 5w+4d after IVF so I’m just here to handhold because I understand your level of worry 💐

If you can’t see the doctor can you book a private scan? I’ve got one on Wednesday at 6w to check everything. Xx

I had a bleed with my 2nd at 6+1. Got booked in for an emergency scan at 6+3 a the hospital and managed to see a heartbeat. I now have a happy and healthy almost 3 year old DS.
The early weeks are hard as you don't actually feel pregnant. Once you have your 12 week scan it starts to become more real,and then some time between 16 and 20 weeks ish you'll start to feel little pops and flutters and you will feel reassured all of the time. Before you know it you'll be up to your eyeballs in dirty nappies and sicky muslins! 😂 Good luck Flowers

@Bobblehatwobble- first of all amazing name! I’m booked for a scan next Monday so just a week away.

@Thesnowfellfast- thank you!

I’m going to see if my GP will do a blood test to check levels are rising as they should (Or at least are at a non-worrying level! ) . Hoping that plus a scan will put me at ease.

Hi OP, sorry you are worrying. I totally get it and have been the same. I find my symptoms are better some days than others. On good days, I panic that things have gone wrong and then a couple of days later I'm being sick again.

Symptoms are harder when you are on progesterone (I take it too) as that can cause it's own symptoms or mask other ones. They can also cause irritation which could explain some brown spotting.

Honestly I’ve been there with theworry ! I’ve had loss of symptoms and also a few episodes of bleeding but I’m 17 weeks tomorrow and all seems to be ok! Try not to panic! X

ZooKeeper123 · 25/10/2020 22:08

I should mention all of that was in the first 12 weeks x
