I'm 21 weeks pg and for the last few weeks I've been really short of breath and dizzy. I had the dizzyness with dd1 so I'm not too worried about that - but the breathlessness is concerning me - quite literally its walk from my front door to my kitchen and I have to sit down and catch my breath. Has anyone else had this? is it normal?? is it just because I'm doing more with a hyper toddler?? Should I go see my mw or dr??

you might be aneamic, that can make you breathless, but certainly speak to MW about it.. try taking a natural supplement like spatone to boost your iron levels.

I would see the M/W the baby is not yet big enough to be pressing on your lungs yet.

I have had trouble with breathing since about week 8 of my pregnancy and the m/w said that it was due to the extra work my heart is doing to pump blood round my body. She said to rest as much as possible meaning that I have now been off work for 3 weeks with that, morning sickness and exhaustion.

Get it checked though if you are worried - better safe than sorry x
