I've tested positive for covid. All I can recommenced is complete rest, plenty of water, and honey with hot water is helping my cough a bit. I'm 35 weeks and it's so rubbishConfused Definitely do the test so at least you know either way, but just limit your contact and stay indoors if you can. Hope you feel better soon

Thank you. I've had symptoms for 8 days, finally just starting to feel better this evening. I've been told it shouldn't affect the baby and as long as I can still feel movement (which I can) then there is nothing they can do / worry about.

It's definitely taken me longer to recover than my partner, it's not nice but it is just like a really really bad cold. It has also made me realise I've got to be even more cautious now these next few weeks.

Symptoms started as normal cold - sneezing, sinus, headache then each day something new developed.... loss of smell, cough, feverish, body aching. If you feel anything it's definitely worth getting a test and isolating

Sorry for both of you, hope you feel better soon.

I don't know if they are still saying, but there was advice not to take ibuprofen/nurofen with covid or something that might be covid. I know someone who had covid and improved once she stopped taking them.
