Hi. This is probably nothing but needing someone to reassure me.

I am 27 + 2 weeks pregnant. The last few weeks I've been getting serious BH that can really stop me in my tracks. Mentioned this to MW who said as it is my 4th DC they do get stronger with subsequent pregnancies but because I have low papp-a to keep an eye on it because of a correlation between low papp-a and premature labour.

So today, following a daft row with DH I took myself off to bed, fell asleep, but woke in pain. (7:30 pm) since then i have had pretty much constant back and period type aching pain that is sometimes causing a BH type tightening too.
It hasn't got any worse through the evening and there doesn't seem to be a pattern.
I had quite a busy day doing jobs around the house so I'm wondering if I've just over done it.
Any one had this around this time? It's been so long since my last baby I feel like I've forgotten everything!
Thanks.

Not to worry you more, but i would call delivery or whatever your out of hours number is, ive had this and my midwife said if it happened again to call delivery to be checked over as bh shouldn't be painful. My consultant has said the same thing. Its better to be cautious.

Thanks @Hatepickinganame. What caused yours last time? I'm trying to rest in bed again now. I keep telling myself it will ease in half an hour!

@Grumpy19 I don't actually know, I haven't had a repeat episode so haven't been to get checked. Its my 4th pregnancy too but midwife was still insistent they shouldn't be painful and I should get checked if it happens again to make sure they aren't doing anything.

Hi. I managed to get some sleep and when I woke around 3 it had eased. Just feels like back ache this morning. I will keep an eye on it. Unfortunately our car is at the garage at the moment so getting on to hospital would be a difficult task so I'm just hoping today is better. Going to try and rest a bit.
