I’m only 3+5 and I’ve been sneezing non stop since 7dpo, it’s really starting to irritate me now 😭 has anyone else experienced sneezing in early pregnancy? When will it end!?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@Nam095
I doubt it's pregnancy-related, as you need your hcg levels to be higher before they all kick in (5-6 weeks). I imagine the excess sneezing is more lifestyle - dust, flowers, heating newly turned on etc xx

Nam095 · 23/10/2020 17:35

@cat709 I think my hcg levels are higher than average at this stage, I got a positive on a digital test at 10dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also haven’t turned my heating on yet so it’s def not that 😆 who knows what’s causing it, all I know is it only started when I effectively became pregnant and it’s annoying me 😂

Sneezing was one of my first pregnancy symptoms! I couldn't stop between 4 and 6 weeks, I hope it settles down for you soon Smile

Vinosaurus · 23/10/2020 21:55

I had very a odd (not sneezing - a skin condition) initial symptom of pregnancy - so I can quite believe it's pregnancy related.

kim160790 · 24/10/2020 04:14

One of my first symptoms was sneezing I thought it was a bit weird and went on for 3/4 months x

Queenbee95 · 24/10/2020 08:44

I’ve been sneezing so much, put it down to maybe the cats (was never this bad before I got pregnant though). 13+1 and it’s definitely not improving 😂

Rosieposie07 · 24/10/2020 08:55

I totally get this too! And as far as I'm aware there is nothing you can take?! I'm 6 +1 week and have very bad allergies I am assuming they all just become heightened with pregnancy! If you find anything that is safe to take in pregnancy please let me know 🥰

Nam095 · 24/10/2020 09:09

I’m glad it’s not just me then and I’m not going crazy 🤣 I’ve sneezed on 4 separate occasions already this morning and I usually sneeze 3 times minimum each time 🙃 my nose is already blocked for the day haha

If I somehow find a remedy I will post on here!!

Im 7 weeks pregnant and keep sneezing. I hadnt even thought the pregnancy was causing it! That makes sense now

Rosieposie07 · 24/10/2020 09:30

I'm walking about with tissue lodged in my nose lol! It's exhausting the constant sneezing, I guess we are just hyper sensitive to things we would normally only be slightly sensitive to!
Before an antihistamine would do the trick! I wonder if the nasal sprays are also no recommended, I will try the chemist today and let you guys know 🤧

Nam095 · 24/10/2020 11:07

@Rosieposie07 haha I can relate to that 😂 yes let us know if there’s anything we can use!

I never sneeze and during my first and 2nd pregnancies I started sneezing for 4-5 days around 10-15 dpo. Following a miscarriage I also had the same sneezing just before my Hcg returned to 0. Could be unrelated but I never sneeze with this being the exception!

SantoPalo · 14/03/2021 19:29

I started sneezing from about 6-7 weeks and still sneezing coming up to 26 weeks.

Nam095 · 14/03/2021 20:04

@Westy1189 sorry to hear of your miscarriage 😔 @SantoPalo I’m 24 weeks now and I’m still sneezing about 20 times a day!

@Nam095 looks like we will be sneezing until we give birth

EllieRosesMammy · 15/03/2021 18:17

I'm exactly the same and have been for weeks (I'm 11 weeks now) It drives me mad and everytime I sneeze I pull a stomach muscle 😂

CheeseandWine91 · 16/03/2021 11:41

I'm 34 weeks and am still sneezing!

BlueberryPancake21 · 16/03/2021 16:01

Sorry to tell you this but... I'm 37 weeks and still sneezing. Absolute agony when it happens in the middle of a Braxton Hicks contraction. Grab the bump and hope for the best!

Tidypidy · 16/03/2021 16:35

When I was pregnant with DS1, I had what felt like horrendous hay fever for the entire pregnancy. Sneezing, asthma attacks, came out in hives. Had to be nebulised twice and 3 courses of steroid tablets to control the asthma. Dr said it was like I was allergic to my baby! I didn't have it at all in my first or third pregnancies- one girl one boy- so no idea where it came from. Upside was I wasn't sick with DS1 as I was everyday with the other two.

rubyrose44 · 16/03/2021 16:43

Are you Bajoran, OP?? (Star Trek ref!)

mhood11 · 16/03/2021 17:00

This is my third pregnancy and sneezing has always been a thing for me too! It was only a couple of weeks ago I thought surely this can't be a coincidence and reading this thread I guess not ha ha
