Hello ladies

I am seeking some advice for pregnancy safe skin care. 10 weeks pregnant and decided to google the ingredients in my moisturiser to find it had salicylic acid in... for google to tell my salicylic acid should be avoided :) excellent. Cue the panic!

Now after a little research, I have found that topical SA should be OK (I.e cleansers, creams etc). However, I think to prevent further anxiety, I’m not just gonna use pregnancy safe.

Sooo any recommendations? Preferably for skin care regime such as facial wash/scrub, toners and moisturisers. I have oily skin and can be prone to spots however since finding that moisturiser with the salicylic acid in, I’ve had very few spots over the last 2 years! Never mind eh!

Thanks in advance

That should obviously say:

“ However, I think to prevent further anxiety, I’m just gonna use pregnancy safe.”

St ives scrub is really good. It’s a course scrub but my skin feels so nice afterwards. I use Superdrug vitamin C moisturiser too. I get oily spotty skin and I find that doesn’t make my skin greasy and smells amazing

Aesop and Dr Hauschka are nice - it really depends on what your budget is. There are nice products in every price range.
