Hi
This bite has been here for two weeks now
There was a lump but that's no longer there
An still warm to touch
Is it safe to leave it or will I need antibiotics ?
The pharmacy originally advised leaving it with an ice pack

Hey OP. I don’t mean to worry you at all but do you live in an area with ticks / Lyme disease? I’m rubbish at skin rashes so probably overreacting but it looks a wee bit like a target lesion to me. Doesn’t look infected but if there’s a possibility it could have been a tick I think it might be worth phoning your GP or seeing if you can send them a photo.

Normally I'd ignore insect bites but two weeks is quite a long time. It wouldn't hurt to show it to your GP just for peace of mind.

That being said I've definitely had bites that lasted a lot longer and ignored them and they've been fine, bit that doesn't mean it's a good idea!

Two weeks is quite a long time for it not to have healed but pregnancy healing can be a bit funny. The fact it hasn’t spread is reassuring. A bit of mild antibiotic cream might be all it needs, I would send a photo to the GP and ask.
