High fertility 1 day after period? Can you get pregnant from sex during period?

I DTD on cycle day 4&5 for 'fun'. My period ended on Cycle day 5. Cycle day 8 I have a static smiley on my Clear Blue ovulation kit which means high fertility.. how is this possible?

According to my ovulation app, I'm not due to ovulate until 31/10..

Could I get pregnant? When should I test?

My sister conceived on the 5 day after her period started. So technically during her period. She didn’t think it was possible but ‘tried’ anyway.

Yes you can get pregnant during your period. Sperm can live for up to 5-7 days inside the vagina so it’s possible to get pregnant if you have sex on your period

Right, I didn't think this was possible! If I hadn't checked my OPK then I wouldn't have realised I was fertile.

I am having exactly the same concerns as you. (Not to be meant in such a way ) I my period is due any day , but I have been getting lots of sympots last few days and I'm not sure if PMS or early pregnancy. My husband and I had sex on first day of my period (I only spot which is why we did ) and then again on last day which again was spotting. I've been getting symptoms similar to 1st pregnancy but I didn't really think this could be possible
