Week 4 - cramps

Hi everyone
I’m about 4 weeks pregnant and last Saturday I started to get cramps - feels a lot like period pain. Getting them mainly at night and quite spread out but they do hurt - no bleeding. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this? It’s my first pregnancy so would be grateful for some advice as it’s so early I’ve not told anyone and don’t have anyone to ask! Thank you!!

I got the same around that time, I think it was just things moving around in preparation? No bleeding or anything either and it settled after a few days. I haven't really had much else like that since, sore at times but not in the same way (10 weeks now!) Any other symptoms so far?

I am around 4 weeks aswell (with my first) and been having the same spoke to my best friend who is current 5 and a half months with her 2nd and she said its totally normal she had it with both pregnancies all way through the first trimester

Thanks that’s a comfort to know. No other symptoms, lost my appetite last week and have had sore boobs for pretty much the whole time but other than the cramps, which have only come over last few days I’ve been feeling good! Hoping it’s just my womb adjusting as you say - just felt a bit strong but that said my period pain always was bad and it’s a similar level to that.

Thanks that’s really comforting to know too. Wondering about speaking to my friends who are expecting ... was hoping to keep it all a surprise but thinking it might help to talk it over with people who have been through it

this is why didnt think i would get a BFP as had period pains but all across side to side, had it for several days but then AF never showed! It settled down after a couple of weeks. i was same as you, really sore boobs! hopefully it'll all subside soon for u...and congratulations!:)

I spoke to my friend but apart from the father shes the only person that knows and i only spoke to her because of the circumstances with the dad and needed someone to talk to otherwise i wouldnt have said anything to anyone yet

I had them too at 4, 5 weeks. Now 8 weeks and they have gone
